Naptime

I have been spoiled with great sleepers, but I have to say that Evelyn has been the easiest so far.  She pretty much begs us to put her down for her nap.  If she is ready, all you have to do is ask her if she wants to go to bed, follow her to her bed, put her in it, and get her out 2-3 hours later when she wakes up!  She is just as easy to put to bed at night!  I guess she takes after me and likes her sleep!

School Pictures

Here are Kaylee's and Kyler's school pictures. Kenyon had not started school when they were taken, but he is getting his taken on
Wednesday (retake day), so I will post his when we get them.

Playing in the Leaves

We took advantage of the wonderful fall weather Saturday and went for a walk. We walked to Fred's and got ice cream and then walked to the Temple. The kids had so much fun playing in the leaves and just enjoyed being outside. I'm really not looking forward to winter.

"Stitch"

Evelyn has a new nickname -- "Stitch"

The other evening Evelyn fell and cut her head. Of course it was after hours (10:30pm) so we had to go to the ER. The other kids were in bed, so we called Tawnya (Russell's mom) and she stayed at our house while we went to the ER. We were very impressed with the ER. We waited for Tawnya to get here, drove the 15 minutes to the ER in Gunnison, Evelyn got 4 stitches and we drove the 15 minutes home all in less than 2 hours!

Doesn't she look miserable?

She was so worn out by the time we got home, she even slept in the next morning!

Horsen' Around

Russell took the kids to his step-sister's farm and she let them ride the horse. Thanks Ann for taking the time to help them ride the horse. They loved it!
