Last week at preschool they had an un-birthday party for Kenyon. He was so excited about it before he went and when he got back. He understands what birthday's are, so he announced to me that he wasn't 4 any more he was now 5! It took me two days to convince him that he is still 4 and that it was an "un-birthday" not his real birthday!

Halloween 2010
We started the celebrations by carving pumpkins for FHE on Monday.
We let the kids design their own.
Here are Kenyon's and Kaylee's...
... Evelyn's (A puppy dog, which was designed by Kyler)...
... Kyler's (Kyler carved it too. It is a face made out of a rocket!) and Russell's & mine.
My mom was so nice and made some of our Halloween costumes this year.
Kaylee wanted to be Princess Aurora (Sleeping Beauty). My mom did an INCREDIBLE job on the dress and Kaylee loved it.
It's amazing what my mom can do with a couple of old curtains!
Kyler wanted to be an Astronaut this year, so we ordered some patches online and had my mom make him a Flight Suit. She even made him a patch with his name on it!
Kenyon wanted to be Handy Manny again this year. I was worried that when he saw the new costumes my mom made for the others he would feel bad or change his mind, but he didn't. He loved every minute of being dressed up, and would get really excited when someone called him Handy Manny.
Since Evelyn spends most of her time acting like a puppy dog, we figured she should be one for Halloween. I think she looked really cute in the costume my mom made for her.
Here we are ready to go trick-or-treating to family and then to the city trunk-or-treat.
THANK YOU Grandma Henningson for the wonderful costumes!
We love you!
