We have had several visits from the Tooth Fairy lately.
Kenyon lost his first tooth, and when I say lost I mean LOST. One day Kaylee came and told me that it looked like Kenyon had a gap in his teeth. I looked in his mouth and this is what I saw. His tooth was missing and he had no idea when or where it fell out.
We had to write a note for the Tooth Fairy letting her know why we didn't have the tooth.
About a week later, Kenyon's other bottom tooth fell out (with a little help from dad) and we didn't loose it, but we also didn't take any pictures.
A few days after that, Kyler came home from school with a tooth that had fallen out. The story I heard is he sneezed and it came out. I guess it was pretty loose if all it took was a sneeze.
Next it was Kaylee's turn to have the Tooth Fairy come. Her two top teeth had been REALLY loose for a while. One of them was almost twisted sideways by the new tooth coming in. Russell finally convinced her to let him pull them out. She was not happy about it, but let him do it anyway.
About a week later, Kaylee bought an ice cream sandwich from the ice cream truck, using her money from the Tooth Fairy. After taking a few bites, one of her bottom teeth came out in the sandwich! She didn't even let us know that it was loose, probably because she was afraid that Russell would get his Leatherman out and pull it out like he had all of her other loose teeth.
After all that, we decided to have a family party at the Dentist's Office. The dentist is one of the counselors in our Bishopric and a really nice guy. When he found out that Kaylee wants to be a dentist when she grows up, he went and got her from the waiting room. He set her up with a mask and had her assist with me and Kyler. She LOVED it!
The kids all did really well, especially since they were there from 12:30 to about 4:30. They didn't even have any cavities!
