We finally got Kenyon's School Pictures! I think he looks really good. I can't believe how fast he is growing up.

Last Few Weeks
We spent Thanksgiving in Las Vegas with Russell's brother Bryan. We had a lot of fun. The older kids are finally at an age where they played well together the whole time. Each of the kids had someone to play with. Here is a picture of all of them together.
Meg (2), Brynn (9), Lex (4), Kyler (8), Kaylee (5), Kate (6)
Evelyn (1), and Kenyon (3)
Russell and I took 6 of the kids to Hoover Dam. It was quite the adventure and we got a lot of strange looks running after so many young children. Here are 5 of the little monkeys.
Russell with the 6 kids.
I think this picture of Kenyon dancing with some random girl is pretty funny.
We had a great time playing with cousins, eating yummy food, and enjoying the warm weather!
Next came Christmas Tree hunting. Evelyn slept the first half and screamed the second half. I didn't get any pictures taken after she woke up, but I did get some fun pics of Kaylee and Kenyon enjoying the snow while she was sleeping. (Kyler didn't want to go with, so we left him home.)
Next we have the kids talking to Santa Clause at our Ward Party.
They are really excited about Christmas this year! Well Evelyn might not be that excited but she loves the tree! Our kids are at a really fun age for Christmas this year, which makes it that much more fun for us!
I love this picture. Doesn't she look like a natural?

Flat Stanley Travels The World!?!
Kyler had a school project where they were supposed to send their Flat Stanley all over and have people take pictures of him all over the US and World. Well being the slacker parents that we are, we didn't get him sent anywhere. Well the project was due the Monday after Thanksgiving, so we thought we would make it up to Kyler and travel the world for our Thanksgiving break.
Our first stop was the Eiffel Tower!
Next came the Arch de Triumph!
Then came the Statue of Liberty and New York City!
Of course we had to go to Egypt and see the Pyramids and the Great Sphinx!
Our next stop was a little closer to home, The Hoover Dam (AKA The Boulder Dam).
As you can tell we had a very busy Thanksgiving, but aren't we the best parents ever?!
Kyler thinks so!

Disney On Ice
Kaylee won tickets to the Disney Princesses On Ice show for
Saturday night. We decided that since she won the tickets we would let her take a friend. She chose Kalli from down the street.
Saturday night. We decided that since she won the tickets we would let her take a friend. She chose Kalli from down the street.
We left Evelyn with my dad (my mom is in Appleton, Wisconsin with my sister Jenny who just had a baby girl) so my dad watched her all by himself! Don't I have the best dad ever?
Anyway, we drove up to Salt Lake with it snowing off and on the entire way.
The kids were so excited once we finally got there!
Kyler really did enjoy it, even if it doesn't show on his face!
Even though the weather wasn't the best up and back, it was still a fun trip and totally worth it!
I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream For Ice Cream!!
Russell's brother Dee and his family came to visit. Dee and Tammy have adopted two boys from Peru and this was our first time meeting them. The kids had a lot of fun playing with them, even with the language differences.
Saturday evening we all went to Fred's for some Ice Cream! Angie was so wonderful with the kids and even let them make their own ice cream cones! Kyler and Kaylee thought that was way cool!!
I feel bad that I don't have any pictures of anyone else. We really did enjoy getting to know Jason and Joel and are glad that they are now part of the family!!
Shooting Pumpkins
My brother, Kendall, invited us to go shoot pumpkins with him. Russell took Kyler, Kaylee and Kenyon and they had a blast!
I don't know why there aren't any pictures of Kenyon shooting, but here is one of him about 30 minutes after they got back!
Thanks for inviting us to go with you Kendall!!

Halloween 2009
We had a fun Halloween this year. Kaylee was Minnie Mouse, which was a nice change, she has been Mickey Mouse for the last three years! My mom helped me make the dress and Kaylee loved it. She wore it all day Friday and Saturday. Kenyon was Handy Manny. Russell made him a really cool tool box and he loved it when people recognized him. Kyler was a Magician. I'm not sure if he liked the long cape or the moustache best. Evelyn was a Frog. She did really well wearing the costume. I think she was excited about it being her turn after watching us get everyone else dressed up. she did really well all night, except she would not hold still for the group photos. Oh well, she is only 1.
We went to the town Trunk-or-Treat and the kids had a lot of fun getting loaded up with candy. Kenyon also enjoyed seeing everyone else in costumes too. After that we went to Grandma & Grandpa Slim's and then Grandma & Grandpa Henningson's so they could see the kids. (Tawnya came to our house earlier and saw them there. She did the 13 Days of Halloween for the kids, which they loved.)
In all it was a fun weekend! I especially enjoyed the extra hour of sleep!
