Things That Are Most in the World by Kyler

Kyler had to fill this out for school and I got a pretty good laugh out of some of his responses.  Thought some of you might enjoy a glimpse into the mind of Kyler.

The SILLIEST thing in the world is a cat chasing its tail in a dogs bed.
The QUIETEST thing in the world is a germ reading a book.
The PRICKLIEST thing in the world is a cactus growing in a giant pin cushion.
The HOTTEST thing in the world is a fire breathing dragon in an oven on the sun.
The ODDEST thing in the world is odd numbers on the moon.
The TEENSIE-WEENSIEST thing in the world is bacteria.
The LONGEST thing in the world is all the planets, stars and black holes going into a black hole.
The JUMPIEST thing in the world is a grasshopper on a pogo stick on a trampoline.
The SMELLIEST thing in the world is skunks eating rotten eggs.
The HEAVIEST thing in the world is a T-Rex on Saturn.
The HIGHEST thing in the world is Hydrogen.
The STICKIEST thing in the world is honey bees in tar.
The WIGGLIEST thing in the world is worms vs snakes.

I love the imagination this sweet boy has!

Kenyon's Prayers

I've been wanting to document this for a while, and I figured here is a good place to do it.
Kenyon's evening prayers have evolved and become somewhat humorous.  They started with, "thank thee for my family."  Then went to, "thank thee for my family and for everyone on the earth."  Next was, "thank thee for my family, for everyone on the earth, and for Heavenly Father and Jesus."  Later they became, "thank thee for my family, for everyone on the earth, for Heavenly Father and Jesus, and for everyone in Heaven."  I didn't think that he could top that, but I almost burst out laughing one night when he said, "thank thee for my family, for everyone on the earth, for Heavenly Father and Jesus, for everyone in Heaven, and for the astronauts."

I just love this sweet little boy!!

School Started!

School finally started!

Kenyon has been wanting to go to Kindergarten ever since he turned 5 in June.  His teacher is Mrs Lewann Jorgensen and he is really enjoying going to school.

Kyler is in the 5th grade this year.  His teacher is Mrs Laurel Coburn.  I can't believe that this is his LAST year of elementary school!

Kaylee is in the 2nd grade.  Her teacher is Mrs Stacey Miller.  She is so excited to go back to school so she can see her friends again.

Evelyn is ready to start school too...

...but cried when she realized that she doesn't get to go until after Labor Day.

She is enjoying walking to get Kenyon from school.  She takes her backpack and makes me take a picture of her every day.

On September 6th she will have her first day of preschool.  She is going to Leap to Learn Preschool which is the one that Sheri Henningson does.  I can't wait for her to go so she will stop asking "Me go to school today?"
