The Fair and Evelyn's Birthday

We all had a really fun time at the Fair this year, but I think that Evelyn liked it the most.  She was lucky enough to get to go to the Fair and a Parade on her 4th birthday.

 

The kids really enjoyed the rides this year, and could have kept going all day.  Lucky for me, I had a good excuse to make them leave - we had to make it to the Parade.

 

Kaylee, Kenyon and Evelyn had fun on the little rides, while Kyler and Jay went on the bigger ones.

 

Later Kaylee joined Kyler and Jay on the bigger rides.  She really enjoyed the Sizzler but was sad that the Gravitron wasn't there this year.

Kyler and Kaylee also enjoyed the Pharaoh's Fury - Jay wasn't a fan and only went on it once.

After a long day of rides and a parade, Evelyn finally got to blow out her candles!

Brigham City Temple Open House

The Monday before school started we had the opportunity to take the kids to the Brigham City Temple open house.

The kids really enjoyed seeing the inside of a temple.  I think that Evelyn was the most excited, partly because this was her first time going into a temple.

Summer Fun with Cousins

We were lucky enough to have spent some of the last weeks of summer vacation with my sister Jenny and her five kids.  They came to visit us from North Carolina.

 

The kids had a lot of fun playing with their cousins.

 

 



 Evelyn really enjoyed playing with Rebekah and "Rebekah's Baby" Jessica pictured here.

They went for a buggy ride...

 

 

 

... played chess...

... had sleepovers...

 

 

... and went swimming.  One evening, mom rented the Manti pool so it was just our family.  The kids loved not having to wait in line to go on the slide.

We also spent a weekend up Monroe Mountain for Mom's family reunion.

We really enjoyed the visit from our cousins and can't wait until they come play again!
